The wood/architectural bronze products manufactured by Huber Fenster AG offer minimum maintenance, maximum durability and highly elegant and timeless design. Architectural bronze is an alloy of copper, zinc, manganese and lead or iron. The material is resistant to corrosion and is therefore ideally suited to use in exposed areas. The drawn profile has a high tensile and compressive strength.
Architectural bronze profiles are produced in a complex process of hot forging and pressing, hot forming and bending, machining, and then hot forging again. The profiles are mostly raw. The surface gradually develops a natural unmistakable patina; the material is “alive”. On request, the profiles can also be burnished, sanded, stained or waxed.
