Historic preservation segmental arch windows with steel ring hinges for military canteen

The former building for officers’ housing was converted into a restaurant and hotel with a lot of historical charm. The historic preservation segmental arch windows supplied by Huber Fenster AG played a major role in preserving the exposed half-timbered façade. The character of the windows was maintained by reproducing the profiles and panels, and using drawn glass, profiled cover strips and steel ring hinges. As the existing balustrade was too low, the fall protection was realized in VSG glazing and the windows were equipped with opening limiters.
